I find it clear from the outset that all three characters acts as protagonists, are embarking on a journey, and work as a team. However, the reason why they must decided who attacks the beast (deciding by rock paper scissors) is unclear. Perhaps this is only because these are preliminary sketches. I suggest you make sure this is clear in the narrative.
